Canadian born soprano, Linda Tsatsanis enjoys an active and diverse career spanning the concert hall, the opera stage and performance in movies and television, though she has made performance of early music a specialty. Operatic roles include Venus in John Blow's Venus and Adonis, Fanny in Arne's The Cooper, Arthebuze in Charpentier's Acteon. and Valletto in  L'incoronazione di Poppea. Locally she has appeared with the Tudor Choir and Cappella Romana and has appeared as soloist with the Seattle Baroque Orchestra . Ms Tsatsanis holds degrees from the University of Toronto and Indiana University.

Stephen Creswell,
violist and violinist, is a member of the Northwest Sinfonietta and appears regularly with the Baroque orchestras of Seattle, Portland, and Vancouver. Additionally, he has toured extensively with REBEL, the Pacific Baroque Orchestra, Convergence Dance/Music, and Tafelmusic. Mr. Creswell studied at Indiana University and the Curtis Institute; he is currently on the faculty of Seattle University.
 

 


At home in a wide variety of styles, Judson Scott’s experience ranges from playing lead in West Side Story to performing Bach’s Magnificat on the natural trumpet.. He is the principal trumpet of Northwest Sinfonietta and has performed on natural trumpet with ensembles such as Seattle Pro Musica, Baroque Northwest  and the St. Mary’s Chamber Orchestra, Littleton, CO.  he can be heard performing natural trumpet on After Baroque, the new CD from the Seattle Trumpet Consort on Origin Classical. Dr. Scott holds degrees from Baldwin-Wallace College, New England Conservatory and the University of Washington; he is currently on the faculty of the University of Puget Sound. [more info]

Nathan Whittaker,
 baroque cello,  is a member of the Seattle Baroque Orchestra.  Formerly a member of the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic and associate principle cellist with the Terra Haute Symphony Orchestra, he has performed at international festivals such as the Bloomington Early Music Festival, the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria, the Brevard Music Center, Interlochen Music Festival, and the Killington Music Festival. Mr Whittaker studied at the Georgia Academy of Music,  the Taft School, Indiana University and the University of Washington; he serves on the faculty of the Indiana University String Academy and the Chopin Academy of Issaquah.

 

Sheila Bristow is the Organist/Choirmaster of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, Kenmore. She studied composition as a Kreielshiemer Scholar at Cornish College of the Arts and received her MM in organ performance from the University of Washington, where she studied with J. Melvin Butler and Carole Terry. Her choral conducting experience includes many years with the Northwest Chamber Chorus, including a season as Interim Artistic Director. Sheila maintains an active schedule as a collaborative recitalist, and accompanies Pacific Lutheran University's voice department, Seattle Pro Musica, and Tacoma Opera.
